Bikram yoga is a type of yoga in which practitioners perform 26 asanas (poses) and two Pranayama (breathing) exercises in a room heated to 104 degrees F with humidity ranging from 40-60%.This is a set series since the 90 minute practice is performed twice in the exact same order. Bikram yoga is considered the original hot yoga practice and invented in the 70's by yoga teacher Bikram Choudhury. Currently, it is called the "Original 26 +2". Yoga can help bring piece of mind to the mind and body, meant to prepare the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation. Come fall in love this 90-minute class. Yoga Class Requirements: 1) New students must arrive 15-20 minutes before class to register, sign the waiver, rent a towel/mat, go to the bathroom and set up in the yoga room. 2) Clients must register for class (cannot show up without registering unless new student) 3) Yoga mat, yoga towel and water (rentals available upon request; (water sold at studio) 4) No late arrivals
