Trauma-Informed Yoga and Yoga Nidra Meditation

Trauma-informed yoga is a gentle practice specially designed to help survivors of trauma and individuals with PTSD to rebuild connection with their bodies. These sessions allow for a safe, non-judgmental space to be held for the participant, utilizing invitational language and self-paced programing. The second half of the session is Yoga Nidra meditation. This practice further reduces stress, anxiety and PTSD symptoms, it fosters emotional balance by shifting the participant out of fight and flight and into the restorative parasympathetic state. It teaches coping tools that can be used in daily life.
