Yoga Sculpt is a low-impact class combining elements of yoga, barre, and pilates to build muscular endurance and strength. Teachers will blend vinyasa with weighted sequences with keen attention to form, balance and safety. We will tone and lengthen from head to toe using light resistance with optional hand and/or ankle weights, cardio-building sequences, and a healthy dose of core work. Expect to work every major muscle group as we build long, lean muscles that are strong and capable of stabilizing us in our active lives. The studio room will be heated to 95 degrees and the pace of transitions in class will be slow and steady to support balance and safety.
