Louisiana native T.J. Maple is a renowned choreographer and dance team coach. He has achieved significant success with the Stephen F. Austin State University dance team, winning 15 national championships. Maple holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Kinesiology from SFA. He is also an active member of the Texas Dance Educators’ Association and has contributed to the dance community as an adjudicator, master instructor, and presenter for various events. Additionally, Maple created the first dance team coaching minor at SFA and runs T.J. Maple, LLC, offering choreography services and workshops for dance teams. His philosophy centers around the development of student-athletes and fostering a sense of family within a team.
