Mud and Lotus gets it's name from the idea that no matter our current circumstances (often the mud of our life), we too can rise up and blossom into the beautiful lotus flowers we are meant to be. Mud and Lotus are two facilities next to each other on the first floor of a beautiful limestone apartment building on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. A private, small, safe environment for exploring your fitness levels, improving them with experienced caring professionals, and getting an uplifting full mind, body, spirit experience while you are here. Our Mud Training side offers more of our Circuit training style fitness classes and personal training. A mix of cardio conditioning, functional and strength training in small semi private groups with fun, experienced instructors. Our Lotus Center side offers the zen restorative, recovery practices; functional training, stretching, dance, restorative, yin, and vinyasa yoga, pre and post natal yoga, Pilates mat classes and Pilates reformer for private training clients. Both Mud and Lotus offer one on one training at our facility or at your home gym.
