Krissy Plunkett is honored to be part of the All That Matters community where she completed her Reiki Master and Yoga teacher training. She holds her BA in Dance from Roger Williams University and in 2011; she received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and currently works with the geriatric population. Krissy began to dedicate herself to the practice and study of yoga in 2015 as a means to provide holistic support for stress relief and anxiety to herself and others. She received her 200-hour yoga teacher certification through the Pranotthan Yoga School at All That Matters in 2020. As a Reiki Master, Krissy focuses on creating a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere for her students to assist in growth and healing. She utilizes guided meditations within her classes in order to assist her students into a state of relaxation and ease and also enjoys incorporating chakra work for a deepened experience of mindfulness and self-care. Her classes are challenging, but with respect to the importance of injury prevention; honoring and encouraging her students to meet themselves where they are at. She hopes to help others find a deeper connection to mind, body, and spirit through the practices of movement, breath work, and meditation. Krissy is a dancer and artist at heart. She continues to create contemporary dance pieces in dedication to loved ones to keep her creative juices alive.
