Julie found the Bikram Yoga series back in the early aughts and it was love at first sweat. She graduated from Bikram’s Teacher Training in 2010 and has been teaching ever since. Julie has a special interest in the pregnancy series, having practiced (and taught!) through her entire pregnancy. She has also had the honor of teaching the series to many a fellow pregnant person over the years. Outside of the hot room, Julie is Deputy Director for a consulting agency, specializing in providing fundraising and administrative support to small-mid sized nonprofit arts organizations. She lives in Reston, VA with her husband and energetic, elevator-loving child. She loves coffee, thrifting, and collecting ugly tourist mugs from all over the world.
