Courtney RYT 200, Aerial Yoga Instructor, Reiki Level 1 Courtney, originally from St. Louis MO, earned her BFA in dance from the University of Iowa. She danced professionally throughout the Midwest spending the majority of her performing career with Ballet Quad Cities. Courtney started practicing yoga over a decade ago after retiring from performing. After meeting One Tree Staff at Yoga in the Park she moved her practice to One Tree Hot Yoga to take advantage of the wide variety of instructors and styles of yoga offered. Courtney completed her 200-hour teacher training intensive in the summer of 2017 at One Tree and is passionate about sharing the mind-body-breathe connection that all people can benefit from through yoga and all forms of moving the body, including dance. Courtney is proud to be Artistic Director of Ballet Quad Cities since 2009, and is committed to bringing quality dance performances and education to the region through choreography, teaching, and directing with BQC, as well as teaching ballet at Ballet Quad Cities School of Dance. Courtney has completed training in Aerial Yoga and Trauma and Diversity. Current class formats: Hot Yoga
