As a dancer and someone who is passionate about movement, Julie was naturally drawn to yoga. She loves the breath-work and the connection of breath with movement. She loves the mental focus and stillness, the physical strength and flexibility, and the balance between effort and ease that each pose, and each class, brings. Yoga allows for mindfulness in the present moment, something that Julie sets as a priority both in her yoga practice and in daily life. Her intention is to share with her students what has given her great joy in her practice: peaceful stillness, calm, feeling mentally and physically healthy, and feeling grounded, centered, joyful, strong, open-hearted, and fully present.
