What brought you to yoga? I was working in NYC and looking for a new workout, a group of people in my office were taking classes at a yoga studio down the block. I decided to try a class with a co-worker one night after work. I was hooked! I loved how I felt so relaxed and energized at the same time after the class was over. I knew then and there I wanted to make yoga a part of my life. What do you love about teaching yoga? My favorite part about teaching yoga is the connection I feel with my students. I love watching their practice change and how it impacts them both physically and mentally. Yoga means union and I feel like the connections I make within the yoga community are a greater form of yoga above and beyond the physical and mental. What do you want people to know about your class/teaching style? I like to teach a powerful class; the type of class I would want to take. The promise of my class is you will definitely sweat and go to your edge. My goal is for you to leave my class knowing just how powerful, strong, and capable you are. Fun facts about your life outside of yoga Outside of yoga I enjoy spending as much quality time as I can with my husband, my twin boys and the real head of our household, the cutest labradoodle, Zuzu.
