Starfish Swim School for Youth - (ages 6-13 years) Students work toward development of the five core swimming competencies using age-appropriate learning activities. Learning is self-paced but challenging. Classes will teach high comfort levels in the water and functional swim skills. There are no prerequisites for this level. Swimmers will be assessed on the first day for the session moving forward. Classes are held at the La Mesa Municipal Pool - 5100 Memorial Drive - this facility is an Approved Training Center of the Starfish Aquatics Institute, Inc.
