
Bone Builders with QiGong Warm Up
Join us for a Bone Building strength training exercise program that helps build bone density, improve balance, and reduce fracture risk, combating osteoporosis/osteopenia through weight-bearing activities. The QIGONG warm-up includes a gentle warm-up for each part of the body, including some internal organs, a beautiful QIGONG practice called the Eight Brocades, and closing with a therapeutic, yet gentle tapping of the meridians.. Bringing your own wrist and and ankle weights preferred. There are some hand weights available. Hand and ankle weights preferred but optional. Participants are welcome to bring their own weights. No class July 16 & 23 (8 wk class) This Bone Builders class for osteoporosis/osteopeniais most beneficial when taken twice a week.
