This is an introductory advancing skills course in competitive tennis training, covering the basic patterns and strategies of tennis play for high school and tournament competition. Learning objectives: Students completing this class must demonstrate satisfactory memorization and application of the basic patterns and strategies of tennis play, and the assessment and diagnoses of appropriate strategies vs a given opponent. A tennis racquet and tennis shoes are required. Each student must bring a can of unopened tennis balls and a water bottle.
