This running program for youngsters is similar to cross-country running, but without the difficult terrain. The group typically practices on Mondays with meets in the Coastal Running League held on Wednesdays (the All-League Meet will be on a Saturday). Skills and sportsmanship are taught with an emphasis on fun. A schedule of the meets will be forwarded to participants at the first practice. Meets are held at approximately 4:15pm and are at varying Greater Portland locations. All practices will be held at Falmouth Community Park (19 Winn Road) on the last set of fields at 4:30-5:30pm. Transportation is NOT provided for practices or meets. Coaches: Head Coach Alice Outslay, Asst. Head Coach Lydia Waite and Parent Coach Volunteers Striders shirts are available for $15.00. You must purchase a shirt if you do not already have one. Please indicate your shirt size on the registration form. Sizes are Youth S-L and Adult S-L. No refunds after March 19. MANDATORY ATTENDANCE at the parent meeting on April 27 after practice for all those who did not participate in the Spring or Fall 2025 season is a condition of participation.
