Contemporary is a merging of both ballet and jazz styles of dance, combining jazz skills with the ease and gracefulness of ballet. This style of dance focuses on an emotional connection to the lyrics of a song and expressing that through movement. This challenges the student to connect on a deeper level to the dance and to become a part of the music. Must be 9 years old by first day of class.
